What will my team learn?
Practice recognizing life-threatening bleeding, applying direct pressure, packing a wound and using a tourniquet. Hands-on instruction helps your team build practical skills for the time before emergency responders arrive.
Who is group training for?
We work with Sacramento-area employers, schools, youth sports organizations and community groups. Share your location, headcount and training goals so we can recommend a dedicated bleeding-control course or a custom program.
Can we include First Aid and CPR/AED?
Yes. Our four-hour workplace group course combines First Aid, CPR/AED and STOP THE BLEED®. The PLUS option on our youth sports coach training page also includes these skills.
Is free STOP THE BLEED training available?
We offer a community-course request option through the Current Offers form on our homepage. Requests are reviewed for fit, location, group size and availability. Submitting the form does not confirm a course. Ask for a proposal for a broader group training package.
What does California AB 2260 cover?
AB 2260 addresses trauma kits in specified buildings constructed on or after January 1, 2023, subject to building type, occupancy thresholds and exceptions. It includes kit placement, upkeep and tenant notices identifying a training resource. Training alone does not replace a building’s kit responsibilities. Read California AB 2260.
Can I complete STOP THE BLEED online?
The American College of Surgeons offers an online lecture option. Hands-on skills are still required for its course completion certificate. See the ACS online-course requirements, then contact us about group practice.
