Service Description

This 16-hour WFA covers treatments for various injuries, illnesses, and environment related hazards that may occur while working or playing in the outdoors. In addition to engaging, hands-on training, students receive an OSHA approved First Aid/CPR/AED certification, WFA/WFR-R certification, and a Cal-EMSA Epi Auto-Injector Certification. EMTs and Paramedics receive 16 hours of CEUs. Provider #34-4980. MTN has reciprocity with NOLS for WFR-R. ABOUT THE LOCATION: 25 Acre working lavender farm and forested nursery at 5,900'. This Site is being developed as an outdoor education, school and Weekend glamping rental with Epic vistas, a communal outdoor kitchen with a grill and sink, and seating and eating areas. Feel free to set up a hammock, take a stroll, or smell the flowers. Electricity and running water are available on site, along with portable bathrooms. Add Ons: 5 x RV sites. Up to 25', 120V 30Amp/20Amp. Water. No blackwater dumpsite. (closest is Flying J or Love's approximately 10 miles). $45/night 10 x Dispersed Tent/boondock sites, open flat ground. Water and power nearby. $15/night Campfires restrictions 'may' be in place. *Additional 87 site camping 1 mile away at Tehachapi Mountain Park County Campground, 17350 Water Canyon Rd.
