2025 Highlights: Building Safer Communities, One Class at a Time

As 2025 comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the amazing work we accomplished this year at Capital City CPR and acknowledge the outstanding individuals and groups who made it all possible.

This year, we delivered top-tier first aid training to diverse groups across various industries, including:

Logging Industry

We work with Associated California Loggers (ACL) as their official Safety Coordinator, helping elevate safety standards across the industry. In 2025, we supplied training programs and compliance resources for ACL’s annual conference.

Construction Industry

In 2025, we joined Sacramento’s Regional Builders Exchange. We expanded our reach by delivering first aid training to dozens of construction and industrial organizations, including Teichert, Lionakis, regional oil refineries, and other major employers.

Public Sector

We provided a series of training sessions for large public agencies, such as California State Parks and the California Office of Emergency Services, as well as additional state and regional departments committed to strengthening safety and preparedness.

Schools and Educators

Using student-centered teaching, we delivered quality first aid training to educational institutions like Gateway Charters.

Where We Were

We come to you. As Sacramento’s top-rated provider of mobile CPR certification and first aid training, we provide on-site training across California and Nevada. Check out some of the places we had the opportunity to train this year:

  • Sacramento/Capital City

  • Bay Area

  • Redding

  • Chico

  • Southern California

  • Santa Cruz

  • Monterey

  • Reno, Nevada

CPR-A-THON

One of our biggest and proudest achievements this year was our first-annual CPR-A-THON, where we successfully trained nearly 300 people in hands-only CPR and AED use, all for free.

The twelve-hour event, hosted outside the State Capitol Building, brought the community together to learn critical lifesaving skills. The goal was simple—to increase survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest by providing everyone with access to life-saving training. Together, we proved what’s possible when the community comes together and empowers each other to save lives.

What’s Ahead for Capital City CPR

We were able to expand our reach this year because our edge lies in the depth of our training. By integrating additional life-saving skills like STOP THE BLEED® into our courses, we go beyond standard CPR instruction to prepare clients for a broader range of emergencies. This comprehensive approach reflects our commitment to empowering individuals with the confidence and capability to respond quickly and effectively in critical situations, not just cardiac events.

Our 4-hour group first aid, CPR/AED, and STOP THE BLEED® courses cover:

  • Bleeding control

  • Shock management

  • Wounds

  • Allergies

  • Heat illness

  • Diabetes

  • Stroke

  • Heart attack

  • CPR/AED use

“This was a great class, the instructor really made our bi-annual mandated CPR training tailored to our group and work circumstances, and made as much time as possible to give us actual practical experience with first aid, splints, etc. I usually dread having to go to this recert over and over, but this was the best and most engaging one I’ve had in many years,” wrote Paul J. in a post-training review.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To everyone who trained with us, taught with us, or cheered us on this year, thank you! 2025 was full of achievements, but the real highlight was the people we got to work with along the way. We’re proud to be a part of your lifesaving journey, and we’re excited for everything 2026 will bring.
